Settings

How the voice intake behaves. Stored in this browser rather than on the server: the app has no user accounts yet, so a saved setting would be one shared setting, and one person picking a voice they liked would change it for everyone mid-demo.

Voice

Which voice the intake speaks with. Marin and Cedar are the pair OpenAI recommends and are noticeably better than the rest; the others are here because a demo voice is a matter of taste.

Start a voice session on the home page to hear it. A session keeps the voice it opened with, so a change here applies to the next one.

How it listens

How long a pause has to run before it decides you have finished. This is the setting that most changes how a conversation feels — too short and it talks over you while you think, too long and every turn has a beat of dead air.

How much it asks

The clarification budget. Three is the ceiling because a fourth question stops feeling like help — at that point typing the question would have been quicker, which is the one thing this must not be true of.
